DL Sharrif Floyd (6-3 311) of Philadelphia has taken an official visit to Florida. Thursday his Florida recruiter was by his school to check in on him according to Washington High School coach Ron Cohen. "He likes them," coach Cohen said. "He really enjoyed his Florida visit. He had visited there in the summer."
Floyd also has taken an official visit to Southern Cal. "That was a long trip, a tough trip," Cohen said. "His plane was delayed and his missed his connection in Detroit and had to spend the night there."
Floyd will be visiting Penn State October 16th and USC on the 23rd. He's been to both before. "He's had two nice trips to South Carolina," coach Cohen said. "He's probably spent more time at South Carolina than any of the others. He enjoyed it there. Some of the people up here are South Carolina people."
Right now Floyd is scheduled to visit North Carolina November 6th but his coach is not sure that will hold up saying Ohio State and Michigan might come in to play. Floyd doesn't have a favorite according to his coach and won't announce a decision until the US Army All American Game in January.
