WR Kadron Boone (6-1 170) of Ocala, FL still doesn’t know for sure when he’ll decide if he’s taking some other visits, let alone when he’ll be taking them. Boone is “just trying to take things very slow and enjoy my senior year,” speaking with his parents and coaches about the best course of action.
Boone committed to Texas Tech in August, but continues to be heavily recruited by “schools like Notre Dame, Florida, and South Carolina.” Things look decent for at least an unofficial for USC because Boone’s good friend 2011 CB Chris Johnson wants to take in the USC-Florida game next month and Boone wants to accompany him. “He’s new to the whole recruiting process, and he’s been my friend since we were like 5 years old, so I’m just going to come with him and support him,” Boone says.
Boone has also been keeping an eye on USC this year on TV. He watched the Alabama and Vanderbilt games, and enjoyed what he saw, saying “I really love the way they used Alshon Jeffrey, that really caught my eye.” He talks to coach Spurrier, Jr. once or twice a week, and will make some final decisions on visits after his team’s season is done sometime in December.
