RB Jawan Jamison (5-8 195) of Jacksonville, FL says his top three schools in no order are Clemson, USC, and Rutgers. He has offers from Clemson, Rutgers, Northern Illinois, and Wake Forest but none from USC.
"My brother is good friends with CJ Spiller and he really loves it up there," said Jamison. "They get it to the runningbacks a lot of different ways and that is similar to my offense (in high school)."
He also knows Mike Triglia from the Gamecocks. "He says it's great there and I love their coaches," he said. "When I camped up there the coaches were really cool and funny. I love their atmosphere too." Jamison likes both Clemson and USC for their college towns.
He has not taken any visits and says it's hard because his high school coach does not like his players to take visits during the season. "The Rutgers coach called my mom and wants me to come up for a game," he said. "We are trying to figure out if there is a game I can go to without getting into trouble." He says Rutgers is telling him he could play as a freshman. "They put Ray Rice in the NFL and, if you look at his stats at Rutgers, they got him the ball over 30 times a game," said Jamison. "They say they want to use me like that."
In five games, Jamison has 398 yards on 31 carries and ten touchdowns. He did not name a favorite.
