DB Justin Coleman (6-0 175) of Brunswick, GA will be visiting Clemson's junior day this Saturday and may get an offer. His coach, Victor Floyd, says the Tigers have been on Coleman for a while.
"Clemson does a good job of evaluating talent and getting on players early," said Floyd. "They were the first to show him interest so, of course, they're going to have a special place in his heart." Floyd says Coleman is showing interest in the Tigers.
Coleman has offers from Kentucky, West Virginia, and Oklahoma State so far and is hearing from Clemson, USC, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Oklahoma. Floyd says Coleman was at Georgia Tech for their junior day. "He chose Tech over Georgia because he probably wanted to go to Atlanta," kidded Floyd. "Plus, he has already been to Athens on more than one occasion." That was his first visit to Georgia Tech.
According to Floyd, Coleman has expressed interest in Clemson, Georgia, and Georgia Tech but does not have any favorites. As a junior, he had around 70 tackles and five interceptions and was named First Team All-State by one publication.
