QB Shamier Jeffery (6-2 190) of Calhoun County has offers from USC, Tennessee, Kentucky, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, Illinois, West Virginia, Nebraska, East Carolina, NC State, and Louisville. He took in Clemson's camp earlier this summer. "It went pretty good," he said. "I played mostly quarterback. I played some receiver too, but mostly quarterback."
Jeffery has not taken any other visits but says he would like to hear from Georgia. "I went to a junior day with (Eric) Mack and it was real nice there," said Jeffery. "I like the stadium, the facilities...everything. I want them to contact me."
Jeffery, who has been working out with his high school team this summer, says he will talk to coaches about possible visits. He also says he will take all five officials before making a decision and will only visit one school between Clemson and USC. He plans to commit after the season.
Jeffery has not narrowed his list and does not have any favorites.
