A home burned on Platt Springs Road on Monday morning.
Lexington County Fire Service firefighters began battling the blaze at 6572 Platt Springs Road a few minutes after being dispatched at 10:38 a.m.
Firefighters brought the fire under control in about 40 minutes. Damages to the home are estimated to be about $212,000, the fire service said.
Two residents were able to get out of the burning home safely. A firefighter required treatment for a minor foot injury.
