Democratic gubernatorial candidate Vincent Sheheen has released an ad that intends to show Republican Nikki Haley is not living up to her own campaign promises.
The ad features Haley making stump speeches while a narrator rebuts some of claims she makes using media reports about Haley repeatedly paying income taxes late and the $42,000 in consulting income Haley was paid by an engineering firm seeking to do business in Lexington County.
In one portion of the ad, Haley is speaking to a group and she describes herself as an "accountant and business person who knows the value of a dollar."
The ad then cuts to a newspaper clippings, and a narrator talks about Haley paying both her personal and business taxes late and being fined by the IRS.

The will air statewide on both cable and broadcast television.
It is the second ad Sheheen has released that raises questions about whether Haley's claims on the campaign trail and whether her personal actions live up to them.
Haley has also released an ad critical of Sheheen and whether he would fight federal health care reform.
