The Columbia Tea Party will have a booth at the S.C. State Fair, which starts Wednesday.
The Tea Party, a collection of organizations that have rallied around limited spending and anger over the behavior of incumbent politicians, have several S.C. organizations.
The S.C. State Fair has taken on a political flavor during election years, with political parties and candidates handing out stickers and campaign literature during the event.
But this is the first time the fair will have a formal Tea Party presence.
