Former U.S. Ambassador David Wilkins, who also served as speaker of the S.C. House, will lead Gov.-elect Nikki Haley's transition into power.
In Wilkins, Haley has tapped an experienced hand in Columbia politics to help her decide on who will fill 17 cabinet level positions and who will lead dozens of policy-making boards and commissions within state government.
