“USC Wins!” Well, that’s what either team’s fans could have screamed in this matchup.
But this time the real USC is victorious, as the South Carolina Gamecocks smash the Southern California Trojans 38-14 in Columbia. This is the first big win for first-year coach Joe Morrison.
Carolina is able to defeat The Men of Troy despite completing only 2 of 13 passes for only 26 yards. That is because the Trojans were outgained on the ground by a whopping 292 to 49.
Thomas Dendy led the way for “The USC” with 98 yards on 14 carries, also scoring twice.
