Offense was the word of the day as the Gamecocks defeat Mississippi St. 65-39 in Starkville.
The 104 combined points was the most in USC history.
There were many offensive heroes for Carolina, but none more than QB Steve Taneyhill. Taneyhill had one of the great games in football history, completing 38 of 44 passes for 473 yards (USC record), three TDs and no INTs.
WR Zola Davis had a huge game as well, catching 11 passes for 185 yards and a TD.
