South Carolina is 4-22-2 all time against the Tennessee Volunteers, with half of those wins coming under head coach Steve Spurrier, and all but one coming since the Gamecocks joined the SEC in 1992.
Before USC's victory over Tennessee in the Gamecocks' inaugural season in the SEC, they had not beaten the Volunteers since the two schools first played in 1903.
