It was a great day on campus as Carolina destroyed arch-rival Clemson 56-20, rolling up 616 yards of offense in the process.
USC scored early and often in the first half as they ran out to a 35-6 halftime lead and never look back.
Jeff Grantz had arguably the greatest game ever by a Gamecock signal caller. He completed 9 of 12 passes for 158 yards and 5 TDs. Toss in 122 yards rushing and a TD, and it was a game to remember.
RB Clarence Williams added 160 yards rushing and two TDs of his own.
