GaBBY Bows inventor debuts on ‘The Real’

Gabby Goodwin, the nine-year-old creator of GaBBY Bows and the 2015 South Carolina Young Entrepreneur of the Year, will be appearing on “The Real” talk show Thursday afternoon.

On the It’s Girl Powered-themed Thursday show, hosts Tamera Mowry-Housey and Adrienne Bailon talk with Gabby and her mother Rozalynn Goodwin about their ultimate hair solution for barrettes and bows to stay securely in place. There will be a watch party at the Sam’s Club on Harbison Blvd beginning at 1:30 p.m., the show airs at 2 p.m. on WACH (Time Warner Cable channel 6) and is re-broadcast at 1 a.m. on BET (TWC channel 61).

The Goodwins launched the two-sided clips last year, selling sets for $3.50 to $4.99 at selected Bi-Lo and Walgreen stores and on the internet. The barrettes come in a couple of styles in a range of colors and, along with GaBBY t-shirts, can be found at
