Mary Lee Free and Hunter Coultrap, both of Columbia, were united in marriage July 16 at the Hall at Senate’s End in Columbia. The Rev. Robert Nicholes officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Free of Mount Pleasant. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phin Free of Florence, the late Samuel Coates and the late Betty Coates Hinson. She earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of South Carolina.
The groom is the son of Ms. Lynette Coultrap of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and Mr. Darren Coultrap of Hillsborough, North Carolina. He earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of South Carolina.
Matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Sally Free Tackett. Bridesmaids were Dianna Colvin, Virginia Coultrap, Nancy Farag, Melissa Fluke and Jamison Holgate. The bride’s niece, Mary Dale Tackett, was flower girl.
Best man was Jeffrey Johnson. Groomsmen were Richard Harper, Elliott Hawkins, Drew Mercer, Michael Ruguleiski and Caleb Snider. McLendon Nicholes was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Hall at Senate’s End. The couple will honeymoon in Banff, Alberta.
