Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart P.C., one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, received top recognition in Corporate Counsel magazine’s annual “Who Represents America’s Biggest Companies” survey.
Ogletree Deakins received the most “mentions” of any firm in the magazine’s survey, which reports on law firms representing Fortune 500 companies and is gleaned from court filings. The survey results are detailed in the October issue of Corporate Counsel.
The magazine said the survey provides a look at which prominent law firms are getting the business of America’s largest enterprises.
“But these firms have the savvy, guts, and firepower to put out, well, most litigation fires,” the magazine said.
Overall, this year’s top mentions go to Ogletree; Littler Mendelson; Jackson Lewis; Morgan, Lewis & Bockius; and Seyfarth Shaw, all of which were at or near the top last year, the magazine said.
“The results of the Corporate Counsel survey serve as a strong validation of the business relationships that we have developed and our commitment to client service,” said Kim Ebert, managing shareholder of Ogletree Deakins. “We are very pleased to have received this recognition.”
Ogletree Deakins recently announced the opening of its London office, the firm’s 45th office.
The firm has 700 lawyers located in offices across the United States and in Europe. Its largest office as well as support services are in Greenville.
