The NETA Business Center in Columbia has hired Pauline Howland and Frank Marshall, two longtime public television managers, as controllers for several of the center’s clients. Howland is the former deputy director and CFO at Alabama Public Television. Marshall was chief operating officer at CFO at KCPT in Kansas City, Mo. Each will lead a team that provides accounting, financial reporting, annual audits and benefits administration for public broadcasting stations and related organizations. The NETA Business Center, created in 1999, provides outsourced accounting and financial support services for public broadcasters.
