COLUMBIA, SC A Florence attorney has been chosen as the new president for the S.C. Association for Justice, an organization that represents plaintiffs’ attorneys.
Rodney C. Jernigan will lead the board of directors for the 1,100 member legal association for the upcoming year. He is the first Florence attorney to serve as the association’s president.
Jernigan is with the Jernigan Law Firm in Florence and has been practicing law for 36 years. He graduated from the USC School of Law and passed the S.C. bar in 1977.
Other officers on the association’s board have also changed: Anthony L. Harbin of Anderson is president-elect; R. Alexander Murdaugh of Hampton is vice president; and Alexander Cash of Charleston is secretary/treasurer.
