Clemson’s McCubbin named behavioral academy’s president

James McCubbin, a Clemson University psychology professor, was installed as the Academy of Behavioral Medicine Research’s president at its annual meeting held recently in British Columbia. The academy provides a forum to promote excellence in science, provide guidance in the field and serve as a resource for academia and the public. McCubbin has served on the faculty at Duke University Medical Center and the University of Kentucky College of Medicine since coming to Clemson as psychology department chair in 1987.
