Five former South Carolina football players have been invited to the 2014 NFL Combine that takes place this month in Indianapolis.
The combine takes place Feb. 19-25 at Lucas Oil Stadium and will feature more than 300 top prospects.
Those Gamecocks invited to participate are defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, wide receiver Bruce Ellington, cornerback Victor Hampton, defensive tackle Kelcy Quarles and quarterback Connor Shaw.
The first three days of the combine will feature measurements, interviews and workout drills. Over the final four days, players will participate in position drills, which will be broadcast live on NFL Network and streamed live on NFL.com.
On Saturday, Feb. 22, the tight ends, offensive linemen and special teams performers will work out.
The quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers take the field on Sunday, February 23.
Defensive linemen and linebackers will be featured on Monday, February 24, while defensive backs will wrap up the combine on Tuesday, February 25.
Three USC seniors who did not receive invites were Chaz Sutton, Ronald Patrick and Jimmy Legree. All three can still earn a shot at the pros.
The Gamecocks will hold their annual Pro Timing Day on Wednesday, April 2.
