The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for credit card fraud.
Sheriff Leon Lott said the suspect allegedly used the card to make multiple purchases between Oct. 15 and Oct. 18 at various locations. So far, the suspect has stolen $339.31 from the victim’s account after buying food, clothing and alcohol.
The suspect was captured on video surveillance equipment using the stolen debit card at a Walmart on Bush River Road.
Lott said the suspect is described as a black female, possibly pregnant, with short, black hair with a red touch to it.
