Wal-Mart has launched its Food Pantry Holiday Makeover campaign, a nationwide effort that asks the public to help food pantries across the country, including four in South Carolina.
The campaign will donate $1.5 million in grants to 75 food pantries for new equipment and facility renovations.
The four South Carolina food pantries include St. Vincent de Paul Society in Columbia, Sandalwood Community Food Pantry in Hilton Head, The Ark's Food Pantry in Kingstree and Piedmont Emergency Relief Center in Piedmont.
Voting for the Food Pantry Holiday Makeover Campaign is open through December 12. Only one vote can be cast per day.
