USC-Clemson baseball canceled

The South Carolina-Clemson baseball game scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Carolina Stadium has been canceled due to nasty weather in the Columbia area.

The schools will attempt to reschedule the game for a later date. All tickets issued will be honored at the rescheduled home event.

USC won Saturday's contest vs. Clemson 3-1. DeAngelo Mack’s solo home run with one out in the top of the ninth broke a tie game and propelled the Gamecocks past Clemson at Doug Kingsmore Stadium, extending their recent domination in the rivalry.

Fans can show their baseball tickets at this afternoon's South Carolina-Kentucky women's basketball game for free admission.

South Carolina returns to action on Tuesday against Georgia State at 7 p.m.
