Three prosecutors honored

Three assistant state prosecutors have been honored by the U.S. Attorney’s office.

The prosecutors are Alicia Allsbrook Richardson of the 15th Judicial Circuit, John “Bill” Weeks of the 15th Judicial Circuit and Salley Elliott of the State Attorney General’s office.

Richardson was honored for for her work as an assistant prosecutor in family court; Weeks, for his work as a deputy prosecutor in General Sessions court; Elliott, for her work overseeing the Attorney General’s criminal appeals and post-conviction relief units.

The awards, the 13th annual Ernest F. Hollings Awards for Excellence in State Prosecution, were presented at the annual banquet this week at the S.C. Solicitors Conference in Hilton Head.
