USC student hurt in fall from window

A USC student was seriously injured early Tuesday morning after falling at a fraternity house.

The student fell from a second-story window at the Sigma Nu house in USC's Greek Village, said Margaret Lamb, a university spokeswoman. The university did not release the student's name, citing medical privacy laws.

George Rice, the Richland County EMS spokesman, said rescue workers responded to the incident at 3 a.m. Tuesday. They transported the student to Palmetto Health Richland's trauma center, he said.
