A boil-water advisory has been issued by West Columbia for water customers in the 100 block of Harbor Drive.
A water-line break possibly could have introduced some contamination into the water supply for those customers.
The advisory was issued at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and means customers should boil water vigorously for one full minute prior to using it for cooking, drinking or ice-making.
We will update this story when we receive notification that lab tests have determined the water is safe.
