A single-wide mobile home was destroyed in a fire early Tuesday morning in Lexington County.
The fire was reported at 1:11 a.m., said Assistant Fire Chief Eddie Turner. No one was home when a neighbor called to report the blaze, he said.
The fire caused about $2,000 worth of property damage to the mobile home, which was located on the 3100 block of Greenwood Drive in West Columbia, he said.
The cause is under investigation. No one was injured, Turner said.

Firefighters took 15 minutes to extinguish the flames.
