Three Gymboree stores in South Carolina were listed among the hundreds the struggling children’s clothing retailer will close as part of its court-supervised bankruptcy restructuring.
Gymboree outlets at Richland Mall in Forest Acres and the Village at Sandhill are among the 350 stores the San Francisco-based company said it will close. More than 900 locations will remain open after the 350 outlets are shut down.
The third S.C. location set to close is in Mount Pleasant.
Closing sales at the affected stores are scheduled, the company stated.
Gymboree filed for bankruptcy protection in June.
