Tempers flare, Raleigh man kicks car door

A 21-year-old Raleigh, N.C., man who cut off another driver in the Coastal Grand Mall parking lot Thursday night is accused of kicking a woman’s car.

Police say the man, who does not face criminal charges, was driving his car when he pulled out in front of a woman driving her vehicle, according to a Myrtle Beach police report. The woman blew her horn, which caused the man to approach her car and begin knocking on the window. The man then threatened the woman, and the woman and female passenger began to laugh, which they say caused him to become even more angry, the report states. He proceeded to kick the door of the woman’s vehicle.

After running the man’s license plates, he was located in Abercrombie and Fitch, where he told police he never kicked the vehicle, according to the report.

The woman stated she was going to pursue a civil lawsuit to get the car fixed.
