Richland County authorities are again appealing to the public’s help in finding Cartez Daquan Roper, 22, who is a suspect in an early morning assault on a man and woman in their Fairfield Road home in north Richland County.
Shortly after 12:30 am, June 3, Roper and another unidentified man allegedly forced their way into the home at 5501 Fairfield Road and demanded money. Roper is accused of injuring the woman in the upper body.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said Roper “is considered dangerous and needs to be taken off the streets.”
Roper is wanted on a series of charges including strong armed robbery, assault, and burglary.
