The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking the community for help in identifying three suspects wanted for burglary and armed robbery in a residential area northeast of Columbia.
Around 1 a.m. on Nov. 28, three suspects carrying firearms forced their way into a home in the 1000 block of Cermack Street in Richland County by kicking in the back door of the residence, Sheriff Leon Lott said in a statement released Monday.
The suspects stole a Sony PlayStation 4 before fleeing the area on foot but were caught on surveillance video outside of the home.
One of the suspects has long dreadlocks and was seen with a black revolver. The second suspect was wearing a camouflage jacket and stocking cap and was carrying a shotgun. The third suspect was wearing a grey sweatsuit and carrying a handgun, Lott said.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. Those with information leading to an arrest may eligible for a cash reward up to $1000.
