One person was injured in a shooting Friday night at a Columbia McDonald's, city police said.
Police responded to a call of a gunshot around 9:40 p.m. at the McDonald's on Wilson Boulevard, according to a statement from police.
A man was shot in the arm as he approached the restaurant, police said. He was transported to Richland Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
Police say a man 18 to 24 years old fired the single gunshot after a fight started inside McDonald's. The bullet went through a plate-glass window and struck the victim outside.
