Columbia police need help identifying two people they say stole cigarettes and lottery tickets after breaking into a Garners Ferry Road convenience store in December.
Police say a large rock was used to shatter a glass door on Dec. 14, 2008, at the store in the 7400 block of Garners Ferry. Fifteen cartons of cigarettes and 495 South Carolina Lottery scratch off tickets were taken.
Reports indicate the robbers took 48 winning lottery tickets to several locations throughout the Columbia to claim the prize money.
One of the robbers is described as a black male, thin build, average height and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket with a stripe down the center of the back of the jacket, white t-shirt and a dark colored doo rag over his head.
