Police; Man drives through stop lights, strikes building

A man was arrested on drunken driving charges after police say he drove through two red lights, hit a building on State Street and then ran, Cayce police said.

Adam Reid Duncan, 26, of Anderson, faces charges including driving under the influence, failing to stop for a blue light, possession of a stolen felony vehicle and damaging city property, a police news release said.

A breath test showed his blood alcohol level was .12, the release said. A breath analysis of .08 is considered the legal limit for adults.

Police say the suspect drove through Cayce drinking champagne from a bottle, the release said. Duncan was booked Tuesday at Lexington County jail.
