Drive-through Oxycontin robber sought in Cayce

The Cayce Department of Public Safety is investigating two robberies of a pharmacy on Charleston highway where a man in a vehicle presented a note at the drive-through window stating "I have a gun, give me all of your Oxycontin."

The first robbery was on August 23 at about 10:41 a.m., Cayce police said. The suspect was driving a burgundy or red full size extended cab step-side GMC pickup.

Police said the second robbery was on September 14 at about 4:34p.m. with the suspect driving a silver Honda Accord or Civic with tinted windows with a tinted sunroof.

Both times the suspect attempted to conceal his identity by placing articles of clothing across his face, police said.
