The Richland County Sheriff's Department is seeking information in two incidents early Saturday morning.
In the first, a man walked into a store in the 5000 block of Two Notch Road about 1 a.m., pulled a knife and demanded money. The suspect stabbed the clerk in the chest before fleeing in a white Jeep. The clerk did not suffer life-threatening injuries, according to a sheriff's spokesman.
About 1:30 a.m., a man was shot in the lower body while sitting on a porch in the 3700 block of Humphrey Street. The suspect drove off in a red Jeep. The victim was taken to a hospital and did not suffer life-threatening injuries, the spokesman said.
