Three men have been charged in connection with a drug-related shooting incident Wednesday in the Fairview community, according to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.
Detectives arrested Alvin Agnew Jr., 18, of Swansea; Phillip Harold Jackson, 22, of Gaston; and Clifton Lamar Sutton, 19, of Swansea, on charges of first-degree burglary and armed robbery.
Agnew, Jackson and Sutton were being held Thursday at the Lexington County Detention Center pending bail hearings.
According to the Sheriff's Department, the charges stemmed from a shooting Wednesday afternoon, in which a man was shot at his Pine Grove Road home. Detectives determined the shooting was connected to illegal drug activity.
The victim was listed in critical condition Thursday at Palmetto Health Richland, according to the department, adding that the incident was still under investigation.
