Help sought in Cayce hit and run that injured motorcyclist

The Cayce Department of Public Safety is seeking information on a hit and run that occurred on Sunday, Feb. 21 about 10:05 p.m.

The suspect was driving a red Ford Ranger pickup "Splash" edition.

The suspect turned off Knox Abbott Dr. and struck the victim who was stopped on 9th Street on a motorcycle while waiting for the light to turn.

The victim sustained significant injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment. The suspect was last seen traveling North on 9th Street toward West Columbia. The vehicle should have damage to the front driver’s side as a result of the collision.
