Suspects sought in use of stolen credit card

Lexington County police are looking for a man and a woman who used a stolen credit card to buy about $5000 worth of merchandise and gift cards at Home Depot stores in Lexington and Richland Counties.

According to a statement from the Lexington County Sheriff's department, the credit card was stolen from a purse in an unlocked car in Irmo on Nov.17. The owner of the credit card told authorities that someone used the Home Depot charge card in Lexington and tried to open an account at Macy's.

Authorities seek the public’s help in identifying the two people captured using the stolen card by surveillance cameras at one of the Home Depots.
