Kershaw County and state authorities arrested an Elgin woman afterfinding crack and powder cocaine, marijuana and controlled substancesat her home.
Kendra Lashaun Tucker, 34, was taken into custody after deputiessearched her West Street home on a warrant for her son, Marquise, onseveral charges, said Sheriff Jim Matthews in a press release. Theyounger Tucker remains at large.
The elder Tucker has arrests for drug and property violations datingback to 1995, Matthews said.
“Since several of these arrests are third offense, we are hoping that,if convicted, Ms. Tucker will finally be taken off the streets,” saidSheriff Jim Matthews.
