Winthrop University trustees added another year to President Anthony DiGiorgio’s contract, extending it to 2013.

The Board of Trustees voted unanimously on the measure today in a quarterly meeting conducted via teleconference, a news release said.

Trustees also voted unanimously to say the president "exceeds expectations" for his job, the highest available rating, the release said.
