Seven soldiers from Lexington County who died overseas in the fight against terrorism were commemorated Tuesday by County Council.
Those honored are Spc. Thomas Caughman, Lt. Almar Fitzgerald, PFC. Kalin Johnson, Sgt. Luther Rabon, Lance Cpl. Joshua Torrence, Sgt. John Meador and 1st Lt. Ryan Rawl.
All died while serving in Iraq or Afghanistan.
Resolutions saluting each were presented to their families.

Councilman Todd Collum described the resolutions as recognition for the “supreme sacrifice” the seven military members gave to the nation.
