U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham weighed in on social media Saturday about a 2005 video of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump making vulgar comments about women.
“I have never been comfortable with Donald Trump as our Republican nominee,” said Graham, who was an early contender for the Republican nomination.
Graham also tweeted a news article that referenced Trump deflecting the blame to Bill Clinton. Graham added his own commentary: “I don’t believe the Bill Clinton defense will work, as we impeached Bill Clinton. I was there.”
Graham also said Trump’s actions would not be tolerated if he were the leader of a college or a sports team or a company that was not privately owned.
