ETV audio | Lawmakers discuss ultrasound legislation

S.C. Educational Television is scheduled to provide a audio stream of a discussion with key lawmakers involved in the proposed abortion ultrasound legislation.

Supporters of the proposal wanted women deciding to abort a fetus to be required to view an ultrasound image of the fetus before undergoing the procedure. Changes to the proposal Thursday removed the mandatory language, making the ultrasound an option.

The audio is scheduled to begin streaming at 9 a.m. You might have to refresh your browser at that time to access the stream.
