Question: When making tough decisions – personal or professional – whose advice do you seek and why?
|Nikki Haley Lexington, Republican||Morgan Reeves Irmo, Green and United Citizens Parties||Vincent Sheheen Camden, Democrat|
|When I have to make a tough decision, I always talk to my husband Michael. We have the same philosophical beliefs and he balances me out. He keeps me strong when I need to be and keeps me focused.||I pray to God daily for my personal private faith inspirations. I ask experts who think outside the box, are problem solvers and have visions of a better future, not lobbyists or special interest groups interested in keeping the status quo. I would create an additional task force of five thousand people from every county consisting of senior citizens who have experienced World War II, a group of college students, high school students, and people of common labor to offer advice without being manipulated by the Democrat and Republican parties. No legislators or politicians will be included in this task force.||I always seek advice from my wife and best friend Amy. I also reach out to my close friends for guidance. For professional decisions I seek out knowledgeable people who are respected in their fields.|
