Update, 9:21 a.m.: All lanes of Hendrix Street near Chariot Street are open.

Police are cautioning drivers to be careful while driving in the Midlands, as some roads may have patches of ice on them because of a drop in temperature overnight.

A Lexington driver lost control of their vehicle Monday morning on Hendrix Street near Chariot Street, according to Lexington Police Department. The silver pickup truck slid into a ditch on the side of the road because of the icy road. Traffic is limited to one lane while police remove the vehicle.

There were no reported injuries.
