I worked as a poll manager in the Nov. 4 election for the infamous Richland County Election Commission. To my knowledge, we had only five voters out of more than 800 who had problems. Most people were in and out in 10 minutes. The precinct was at a new location and could have used more signage, but other than that it seemed to go well.
More people are needed to participate, though. Poll workers help the system work, they get to meet more neighbors than they knew they had and are compensated for their time.
