Now we know why the House and Senate can’t get anything important done. They are worrying about who is influencing whom. Obviously Rep. Todd Rutherford thinks Clemson coach Dabo Swinney has more influence than USC athletics director Ray Tanner. If not, he would have insisted that Mr. Tanner not attend the Palmetto Family Council event when it recognized him like it wanted to do for Mr. Swinney.
Should I have an accident as I dodge potholes in the road, I shall sue the Legislature for mindless preoccupation, negligence and human endangerment. Parents lose their children over these charges; maybe legislators can lose their seats. What do you think?
It irritates me that they get paid for this. If they were running their own businesses, they’d all be bankrupt.
