Tobs' walk-off home run sinks Blowfish

WILSON, N.C. — Ross Steedleyhit a walk-off home run in thebottom of the ninth inning as theWilson Tobs handed the ColumbiaBlowfish its fifth loss in a row,4-3, on Thursday in the CoastalPlain League.

Columbia (7-18) took a 1-0 leadin the game as Jesse Harmonscored in a RBI double by TylerBortnick in the top of the thirdinning, but Wilson tied the gamein the bottom of the inning whenCam Freeman scored on a hit byJustin Parks.

After Wilson took a 3-1 lead inthe seventh inning, Columbia’sRich Witten hit a two-RBI singlein the eighth inning to scoreBortnick and Tyler McBride.Blair Carson got a no decisionfor Columbia, going seven innings.Carson allowed three runs, allearned, and struck out three.
