Clemson continues to draw in talent from nearby Daniel High.
The Tigers picked up a commitment for the 2014 class from running back Jae’lon Oglesby on Saturday. He is the fifth straight major college prospect from Daniel to commit to the Tigers.
“Having a lot of guys down there is a big influence,” Daniel coach Randy Robinson said.
“(Offensive coordinator) Coach (Chad) Morris saw him in the spring and had a lot of good things to say. Clemson called his dad on Thursday and offered first.”

Oglesby went to USC’s camp Friday and was impressive, according to Robinson, but did not pick up an offer.
“I was kind of surprised,” Robinson said. “Coach (Steve) Spurrier Jr. said he was the best looking receiver in the camp.”
When two running backs went down with injuries in last season’s opener, Robinson inserted Oglesby. He finished the year with 1,750 yards and 28 touchdowns.
Oglesby’s commitment gives Clemson four for the 2014 class.
